Beaufort High School Graduation Marred by Violence

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office is still investigating an exchange of gun fire between two vehicles at the Circle K on Lady's Island that has left one man dead and another injured. Bystanders report that the vehicles had come from the high school graduation just down the road this Monday evening. Witnesses are being questioned and slowly filtering out after hours on the scene. The two vehicles fled the scene after unloading what looks to be a barrage from all the casings left at the scene. A Circle K employee working during the incident declined to comment on the situation. The Beaufortonian will update on the situation as we learn more.
